CAREER DETAILS
Started Racing : At the age of 15 on a 50cc moped class, won the club championship in India with Team Tectrac Racing.
1996- 2000 : Finished 3rd in the first race on a Suzuki Shogun 110cc in the Race-a-bike scheme championship. But the year saw him winning 8 races in various classes including 110cc open class in the 44th All India Race meet.
2001-2002 : Won the title, "National champion" in 150cc class on a Yamaha RX135 with Team Yamboys Racing sponsored by CASTROL India Ltd.
2003-2006 : Moved to United Kingdom for career devolopment & joined as a Registered Nurse in NHS, since then started riding 600cc on various circuits in Britain on a Yamaha R6.
2007 : Back into proffessional racing, went all the way to Malaysia to race in Malaysian Super Series in Sepang circuit. This was the first International debut for Emmanuel Gnanaraj. Finished 4th out of 46 overall in Kawasaki cup 150cc on a Kawasaki Ninja KR150 (Kips).
2008 : Got the ACU race licence for Intermedite/Novice class to race in the United Kingdom. Took part in 2 races of the BMCRC Championship in Rookie 600 class on a Yamaha R6. Realised his 2003 R6 is not competetive in that class & have decided to get a 2008 R6 to race in the same class next season which will start from March 2009.
2009 : Emmanuel has managed to buy a Brand New 2008 R6 himself. His new bike has been proffessionally race prepared by "Seton Tuning". Also Emmanuel has been supported by "Red Rooster Racing", "Live Life India", "Verve Studio India", "Moore Speed Racing", "Furlong Tyres", "Insignia Signs" and "KarTechnic" for 2009 season.
