Round: 1 @ Brandshatch 8th - 9th March 2009
Race 1 Saturday: The first race in 2009 at Brandshatch, lovely dry sunday morning the team looking all positive after the friday practice, Emmanuel started second on the grid but a bad start pushed him back to 16th place in race 1.
Race 2 Saturday: Emmanuel wanted a fight back he moved from position 16 to 7th position in the first lap but lap 3 went bad when another biker forced him out of the race in the Graham's bend so Emmanuel did not finish the race 2.
Race 3 Sunday: Emmanuel had to start on th 35th grid position and moved to 21st place.
Race 4 Sunday: Declared wet race Emmanuel moved to 11th position in the open class ...and 9th in 600cc.
Emmanuel is 16th in the Championship at this moment.
Round: 2 @ Snetterton 28th - 29th March 2009
Race 1 Saturday: Started 16th on the grid according to championship points. It was a good ride by Emmanuel which gave all of us a good result of 10th in open class & 8th in 600cc
Race 2 Saturday: It was dark & the last race of the day since the club was running behind the shedule, the track was damp aswell. Emmanuel started 10th on the grid & made his way upto 7th in lap 3 & the disaster struck when it started to rain suddenly. Emmanuel went off the circuit in lap 4 but managed to stay on the bike & finished 20th in open class.
Race 3 Sunday: The rule of this class is to start where you finish! Emmanuel started 20th on the grid & made his way upto 14th on the finish line in the open class.
Race 4 Sunday: Emmanuel started 14th & finished 14th in the last race but clocking his best personal time of 1.18sec. Emmanuel could have potentially finished 12th after fighting with two bikes in all the laps of the race. But they were too fast on the straights & now as team decision, we have planned to tune the engine for next race since the bike is running standard at the moment.
Emmanuel is 19th in the Championship after Round 2 of the season!
Round: 3 @ Cadwell Park 16th - 17th May 2009
Race 1 Saturday: Starting 19th on the grid, Emmanuel moved upto 14th in the first race on Saturday.
Race 2 Saturday: Starting 14th on the grid, Emmanuel lost a place and finished 15th in the second race of the week end due to technical problems.
Race 3 Sunday: Staring 15th on the grid on Sunday morning, Emmanuel again struggled with same technical problem but managed to finish 16th at the end of the race.
Race 4 Sunday: Unfortunate circumstances striked the team for the whole week end. Team managed to sort out the technical problems but Emmanuel ended up racing with dry tyres on a wet race due to no time to change whereas lots of riders had seperate race bikes for dry and wet. Emmanuel finished the race 16th again but scored no points.
End of the race week Emmanuel said, "It has been a difficult week end for us with technical problems & unlucky circumstances considering the track is new for me & quiet difficult to learn in just one practice day, We are aiming to do another track day before next race at Cadwell to be more competetive"
Emmanuel is 23rd in the Championship after Round 3 of the season.
Round: 4 @ Snetterton 6th & 7th June 2009
Race 1 Saturday: Starting 23rd on the grid, Emmanuel gave a good ride & finished 12th in the first race of the week end.
Race 2 Saturday: Starting 12th on the grid, Emmanuel again performed well to put himself in top ten position by finishing 10th in the second race of the week end.
Race 3 Sunday: Emmanuel started 10th on the grid and due to sudden race during the race, he lost couple of places & finished 12th in the race.
Race 4 Sunday: Starting 12th on the grid, Emmanuel finished the last race in 13th position losing one place scorin 3 points in championship.
Following the BMCRC deciding to split the championship between 1000 cc bikes & 600 cc bikes, Emmanuel has moved up from 23rd place to 12th place in Championship out of 44 riders.
Round: 5 @ Cadwell Park 22nd & 23rd August 2009
Race 1 Saturday: With the bike been upgraded & Emmanuel being in perfect shape. He started 16th on the grid in Race 1 & moved upto 9th which was a great ride.
Race 2 Saturday: Starting 13th on the grid, again an impressive performance by Emmanuel put him on 8th place by end of the Race 2.
Race 3 Sunday: The best result of the season so far & again a great ride from Emmanuel gave the team 7th place starting from 13th on the grid.
Race 4 Sunday: Emmanuel has been moving up very well the whole week end. A great ride in the last race but technical problems forced Emmanuel to finish 11th starting the race from 11th.
Although Emmanuel finished in top 10 in 3 Races out of 4. Due to tough competition & close fight in championship has put him in 13th place in Championship.
Round: 6 @ Brandshatch 26th & 27th September 2009
Race 1 Saturday: Emmanuel started 13th on the grid & finished 12th in Race 1.
Race 2 Saturday: Starting 14th on the grid, Emmanuel gave a good ride & moved up to 11th place by the end of the race.
Race 3 Sunday: Emmanuel was placed 17th on the grid & He managed to finish 12th in Race 3.
Race 4 Sunday: Emmanuel finished 13th in the last race of the week end starting from 19th on the grid.
14th in Championship at the moment & there is 2 more Race week ends before the end of the season 2009.
Round: 7 @ Thruxton 17th October 2009
Race 1 Saturday: Emmanuel started 22nd on the grid and finished 15th in Race 1.
Race 2 Saturday: Emmanuel managed to secure 1 point in the championship table finishing the Race 2 in 15th position.
Only one more race to go at the end the season 2009, Emmanuel is 14th in the championship and has got a good chance to climb up the table since the points being so close to his rival riders.
Round: 8 @ Lydden 31st October & 1st November 2009
Race 1 Saturday: Starting from 13th on the grid, Emmanuel rode well to finish 7th in Race 1.
Race 2 Saturday: Staring from 12th on the grid, Emmanuel managed to finish 9th in Race 2.
Race 3 Sunday: Race Cancelled due to weather conditions.
Race 4 Sunday: An important race in the championship, just needing 5 points to get 11th in Championship. Emmanuel showed a fantastic performance & scored 7 points placing 9th in the last race.
A great show in the last round enabled Emmanuel to move up from 14th place to 11th place in just one round. Finishing 11th in the championship out of 44 riders to start with in 2009 season is a great result for Emmanuel's racing career!
